ℹ️HaPOS is a fully offline app — your data never leaves your device. No internet connection is required and no data is transmitted to any server.
1. Data We Store Locally
- Business setup information (name, address, GST/tax number)
- Product catalog (names, prices, categories, stock)
- Sales records and transaction history
- Receipt and invoice data
- App settings and PIN (encrypted)
- Tax configurations and custom tax types
2. Data We Do NOT Collect
⚠️HaPOS does NOT collect, upload, or transmit any of the following to any server or third party:
- Personal customer information
- Payment card or banking details
- Location data
- Device identifiers or advertising IDs
- Usage analytics or crash reports
- Any data via the internet
3. Data Export
- PDF receipts and reports saved to device storage
- Thermal printer output via Bluetooth
- Share via installed apps (WhatsApp, Email, etc.)
When you share or export data, it becomes subject to the privacy policies of the receiving platform. HaPOS is not responsible for data once it leaves the app.
4. Data Deletion
- Using the "Clear Data" option in app settings
- Uninstalling the app from your device
- Performing a factory reset of your device
⚠️Data deletion is permanent and irreversible. HaPOS cannot recover deleted data. Always export important records before clearing data.
5. Data Security
- App access protected by PIN and optional biometric authentication
- Data stored in encrypted local database (Hive)
- No network transmission of any business data
- Security questions for PIN recovery
6. Third-Party Services
HaPOS does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services. The app does not contain ads and does not track user behaviour in any way.
7. Your Responsibility
- Regular backups of your device
- Device security (screen lock, encryption)
- Preventing unauthorised access to the app
- Compliance with local data protection laws for your customers' data
