HaPOS ("we", "our", "the app") is a free, offline-first Point of Sale application for Android. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your data.

HaPOS does NOT collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. All your data is stored locally on your device.
Data stored locally on your device includes:
- Business information (name, type, phone, address)
- Products and categories
- Sales transactions
- Customer names and phone numbers (if entered)
- App settings and preferences
3. Data Storage
All data is stored locally on your Android device using an encrypted local database. No data is sent to any server or cloud service unless you explicitly choose to backup or share data.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or share your data with any third parties. When you use the Share or Export features, data is shared only through apps you choose (WhatsApp, Email, etc.).
5. Google Drive Backup (Optional)
If you choose to enable Google Drive backup, your data will be stored in your own Google Drive account. We do not have access to your Google Drive. You control this data entirely.
6. Permissions
The app may request the following permissions:
- Storage: To save backup files and export reports
- Internet: Only used for Google Drive backup (if enabled)
- Biometric: For optional fingerprint login
7. Security
Your app is protected by a 4-digit PIN. All data remains on your device. We recommend regular backups to prevent data loss.
8. Children's Privacy
HaPOS is a business tool and is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
